PDC Bit

The PDC drag bit is a fast-drilling drag bit suitable for drilling in soft to medium-hard formations (such as clay, gravel, sand, limestone, sandstone, dolomite, or mixtures thereof). Equipped with polycrystalline diamond inserts, this type of bit is significantly more durable than traditional drag bits. Furthermore, the PDC bits distributed by AGIVA offer the distinct advantages of a standard drag bit compared to other types of PDC bits. For instance, damaged blades can easily be replaced, and they are more cost-effective to purchase than conventional PDC bits. Additionally, unlike conventional PDC bits, this type is much more resistant to clogging, making it highly suitable for mud rotary drilling applications. A final advantage over conventional PDC bits is that these PDC drag bits achieve a penetration rate that is more than twice as high.

To maximize durability, tungsten-carbide inserts are welded onto the wings. This extends the lifespan of the wings and allows the bit to be easily repaired by replacing either the tungsten-carbide or PDC inserts.

The bits are available with 4, 5, or 6 wings and come in a wide variety of sizes and thread types.
