Drilling Fluid Additives

When drilling, fluid additives matched to the geological formation help you drill faster, save fuel and keep the borehole wall stable. Each product has specific properties — knowing what to add and when matters. Products are grouped into bentonite, polymers and specialties. A venturi mixer helps dose additives efficiently; test kits help decide what is needed when. We can advise you on control of density, viscosity, gelification, yield.

Bentonites
CMC’s: Carboxymethylcellullose for control of filtration loss and borehole stability
PAC-L: Polyanionic Cellullose for borehole stability and increased viscosity
PHPA: Partially hydrolised polyanion for clay inhibition and increased viscosity
Soda ash for stabilisation of the fluid’s pH and hardness
LCM: Lost Circulation Material to fix substantial fluid loss in the borehole
Flocculants & Absorbents
Thinners & Lubrifiers for clearing the drill pipes and borehole wall and lower viscosity

All products are delivered either per drum, bidon or bag. All are available per pallet. We keep stocks in our service centers for rapid response to the job site.
